Xiaomi's product launch event in China today not only witnessed the unveiling of the Redmi Note 2 and MIUI 7 OS but also the Mi Wi-Fi Nano router.

The palm-size wireless router will be appreciated by those who are looking to go wireless with their LAN broadband at home. The new router promises to deliver stronger and stable signals compared to other routers in the market.

In an official MIUI thread, the company explained the features of Mi Wi-Fi Nano router.

The router offers up to 150 meter square coverage and 100% increase in signal strength, thanks to its PCB external antenna. As for the specifications, the Mi Wi-Fi Nano router features a micro USB port, which connects the router to Mi Power Bank to run for 30 hours.

The Mi Wi-Fi Nano router comes in different shades. Buyers can choose from black, white, yellow, blue, and pink. The new router joins the existing lineup of company's Mi Wi-Fi routers for home and business.

The other major release was Xiaomi's Redmi Note 2. The handset features a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a 13MP primary camera, a 5MP front snapper, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 chipset, a 3,060mAh battery and MIUI 7 based Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The availability of the Mi Wi-Fi Nano router in India hasn't been announced. The router costs 79 Yuan (Rs 800 approximately). Take a look at all the photos of the all-new Mi Wi-Fi Nano router shared by Xiaomi.
