Sophie Turner recently took the internet by storm. The Game of Thrones star got everyone talking when X-Men: Dark Phoenix dropped the first few looks from the movie, including a topless Turner as Jean Grey.

The actress is reprising the iconic character she played in X-Men: Apocalypse and took more effort to get the part right. Talking to Entertainment Weekly, the actress revealed that she gave up a few things in order to focus on getting the role right. One among them was partying.

The diva revealed that she partied just twice in almost half a year of shooting. "I think I had like, two nights of proper partying and on a five-month shoot, that's not very much," she said.

She explained that she would run to her bed early every night, which surprised her co-workers. "It was funny, the first night that I went to bed early, we were all at like, this big group dinner, and I had to work the next day," she remembers.

"I was like, 'Guys, it's 9 p.m. and I really have to be in bed.' All the producers were so shocked because they know me and they were like, 'Are you okay?'"

"You only really get one shot at something like this," Turner said suggesting she didn't want to blow it in any way possible. Teasing the tone of the movie, Turner added, "It is so gritty and there are so many fantastical things in this movie and we really wanted it to resonate with every member of the audience who watches it so we had to make to so real as well."

Last week, Entertainment Weekly dropped the official first look of X-Men: Dark Phoenix. The plotline, Sophie Turner's Jane Grey, Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique looks from the movie and a shot featuring Professor Charles played by James McAvoy and other X-Men actors were released recently.

Now, Michael Fassbender, who plays Erik in the Dark Phoenix, has confirmed that Magneto's mutant island Genosha will appear in the X-Men movie. Talking about the placement, the actor revealed that his character is living and leading a group of mutants on Genosha.

"He's set up this place for mutants that don't a home to go to and they can seek refuge there," says Fassbender. "They have to work as a community but it's a safe place for them and they'll be accepted." Adds Kinberg, "It's the mutant homeland."

X-Men: Dark Phoenix will release on November 2, 2018.
