"The X Factor" UK 2015 is not going to be the same after elimination of Anton Stephans on Sunday – not because he is the best artiste in the competition but because the showman, Simon Cowell is left with no act in his group for the first time in the history of the show.

Mason Noise, the bad boy of Nick Grimshaw's BOYS, was the first to be sent home on Sunday. His performance of "Jealous" by Nick Jonas didn't seem to click with the audience as he got least votes. His departure was expected as there were better acts in the competition.

Then Anton Stephans, the lone act from Simon Cowell's OVERS, and Che Chesterman from Nick Grimshaw's BOYS were made to perform again for survival on Sunday after being placed in the bottom three.

Anton took on the song "I Can't Make You Love Me" by Bonnie Raitt and Che performed "If I Ain't Got You" by Alicia Keys for survival. Both the performances were good but Che looked stronger adding to his solid rendition on Saturday. It looked like Anton had lost the battle after engaging in an unnecessary argument with Nick during the Live Shows 4 performance. He not only started losing momentum after the Six Chair Challenge but also seemed to have lost his cool.

With the fate of the two acts depending on the decision of the judges, the situation got tense. As expected, Nick backed his own act Che and Simon backed Anton. However, Rita Ora and Cheryl voted for Che, thus sending Simon's lone act home.

Simon Cowell's OVERS is now left with no act, while Rita and Cheryl have two each acts in their respective teams, and Nick has one artiste left.

The top five finalists of the show are Che Chesterman, Louisa Johnson, Lauren Murray, 4th Impact and Reggie N Bollie.
