WWE gifted us with the Superstar shake-up, post WrestleMania 33, thanks to Vince McMahon's creative thinking. As a result, several pro wrestlers made the brand switch -- from Raw to SmackDown, and vice versa.
And now comes the pay-per-view event Payback 2017, which is basically the WWE event only for the pro wrestlers competing in the Raw brand.
Having said that, SmackDown Live superstars Randy Orton and Kevin Owens will still be a part of the PPV. Why? As per the WWE stipulations, a pro wrestler is entitled to have their rematch against the new champion.
Randy Orton won the WWE Championship after defeating the former champion Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 33, while Kevin Owens bagged the United States Championship after defeating the former champion Chris Jericho.
Although Jericho and Wyatt are currently Raw superstars, they are entitled to have their rematch.
Orton and Wyatt will be involved in a 'House of Horrors' match this Sunday April 30 at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. No one really knows what kind of a match this is going to be, as there has never been a House of Horrors match in the WWE before.
Also, newly-drafted to Monday Night Raw, the former 2-time SmackDown Women's champion Alexa Bliss will be competing against Bayley for the Raw Women's Championship.
The Hardy Boyz -- Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy -- will be defending their Tag Team titles against the team of Cesaro and Sheamus.
