"WWE 2K17" has been confirmed as the next simulation professional wrestling video game from 2K Games, which is expected to be released in October 2016.

This confirmation comes from Take-Two's financial report that was shared on WWE 2K's official Facebook page. Along with other games like "NBA 2K17" and "Sid Meier's Civilization VI," Take-Two mentioned about "WWE 2K17."

Attack of the Fanboy noted that normally 2K releases "WWE 2K" video game on Oct. 25, but it has not revealed if the game will be rolling out on the same date.

Another interesting thing that was spotting in the press release was the platforms section had "TBA" written on them. The "TBA" could possibly mean that unlike last year, where we saw "WWE 2K16" being released on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, it could only come on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Many of the recently released games have not been releasing their video games on PS3 and Xbox 360. These consoles not only represent previous generation, but it does not support higher graphics and they have lesser storage space.

"WWE 2K16" featured one of the biggest roster in the WWE 2K franchise and we will have to wait and watch to see what 2K has for players in "WWE 2K17."
