Shah Rukh Khan's "Dilwale" might have had a rather disappointing collection in India, but at the worldwide box office, it has become the second highest grosser, while Ranveer Singh's "Bajirao Mastani" is the fourth highest grosser of 2015.
Shah Rukh's "Dilwale" has shattered the worldwide box office collection record of Salman Khan's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" by a small margin. The worldwide box office collection of Shah Rukh's "Dilwale" is Rs 306.10 crore, while "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" total income is Rs 306 crore.
The worldwide box office collection of both the films include net domestic income and gross overseas income. "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" has crossed Rs 200 crore mark at the domestic box office, but the overseas income of Salman's film is less than Rs 100 crore. On the other hand, "Dilwale" domestic income is less than Rs 150 crore, but from the international market, SRK's film has minted more than Rs 159 crore.
Domestic: Rs 146.68 crore, Overseas: Rs 159.42 crore
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo
Domestic: Rs 210.16 crore, Overseas: Rs 95.85 crore
Ranveer's film "Bajirao Mastani" will soon take its gross worldwide box office earnings to approximately Rs 350 crore mark. Till the fourth weekend, the film had minted Rs 347.57 crore and adding the weekdays collection, the earnings would go to Rs 350 crore mark.
"Bajirao Mastani" earned Rs 177.35 crore from domestic box office. The gross domestic income after 24 days is Rs 253.36 crore, while the overseas income is Rs 94.21 crore. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's directorial film is still raking good moolah at the domestic box office.
