World's Highest-Paid Celebrities: Big B, Salman, Akshay and Dhoni Enter Forbes List; Record More Earnings than Leonardo DiCaprio, Channing Tatum and Others [PHOTOS]

Forbes has released its annual 'The World's 100 Highest-Paid Celebrities' list, also featuring Bollywood superstars Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar as well as cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Senior Bachchan and Salman have taken the 71^st spot on the list with $33.5 million earnings each, Akshay Kumar is placed 76^th with $32.5 million income, while the Team India captain has been placed at the 82^nd position with $31 million earnings.

For the first time, Forbes included celebrities regardless of nationality. According to Forbes, Big B, Salman, Akshay and Dhoni have earned more than some Hollywood A-listers, including Leonardo DiCaprio and Channing Tatum among others.

The list includes 100 celebrities from around the world. American professional boxer Floyd Mayweather, Jr. has taken the top spot with $300 million earnings, followed by boxer Manny Pacquiao with $160 million and American singer and songwriter Katy Perry at third with $135 million.

This year also musicians have managed to take the maximum spots with almost 38 musicians making it in the list. Katy Perry, One Direction, Garth Brooks, Taylor Swift, The Eagles, Calvin Harris, Justin Timberlake, Diddy, Fleetwood Mac and Lady Gaga among others have been featured in the 'World's 100 Highest-Paid Celebrities' list.

The list also includes 29 athletes, 19 actors, 6 personalities, 3 radio stars, 2 comedians, 1 chef, 1 model and 1 author. Check out the complete list here.
