With the last 'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt update – patch 1.08' successfully out, fans are currently looking ahead to the upcoming DLC for the game. And more so since the DLC will also bring the much anticipated New Game Plus Mode. After all, CD Projekt RED has indeed promised that the new DLC will be out shortly after patch 1.08.

As it seems, there's some good news for all Witcher fans as the development team has announced on Twitter that they have an "internal" release date for the DLC, and that they will be announcing the final release date for the mode soon.

With CD Projekt RED's Marcin Momot officially making it clear that it won't be too long before we can finally play the final piece of free DLC, we have to take his word for it. And in all fairness, CD Projekt RED is one of the most punctual studios around, so expect the DLC content relatively soon.

As of now, the recently released patch 1.08 for the game sets up Witcher 3 nicely for the upcoming, free DLC. The patch comes with several bug fixes, including the ones that have been applied for the in-game achievements.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was released earlier this year for the PC, Sony PS4 and Microsoft Xbox One.

Stay tuned for more updates!
