Windows 10 Mobile release date has been somewhat of a mystery to everyone. Besides a vague rollout date for Windows 10 Mobile in December, there is nothing for Windows Phone users to go by. Luckily for us, the tips never stop coming. A new tip just arrived from Poland, citing inside sources from the Polish branch of Orange carrier, which sheds more light on the new mobile update, Know Your Mobile reported.

According to the report, several Lumia smartphones will be getting the new software on December 14 in Poland. Although it may not interest the global audience, once a final OTA is rolled out in one region, other countries are likely to follow. In fact, there is a good chance Windows 10 Mobile will be rolled out in several countries simultaneously.

First things first: Here's a list of handsets that will receive Windows 10 Mobile in first and second batches, respectively. The first batch has:

  • Lumia 630
  • Lumia 635
  • Lumia 640
  • Lumia 745
  • Lumia 830

The second batch of Windows 10 Mobile rollout will begin in February 2016 for the following devices, according to the KYM report.

  • Lumia 520
  • Lumia 532
  • Lumia 625
  • Lumia 720
  • Lumia 820
  • Lumia 920
  • Lumia 925
  • Lumia 930
  • Lumia 1020
  • Lumia 1320

This report conflicts with Microsoft's statement listing of the first batch of Lumia smartphones to receive the update in December. According to the maker, Lumia 430, Lumia 435, Lumia 532, Lumia 535, Lumia 540, Lumia 635 (1GB RAM), Lumia 640, Lumia 640 XL, Lumia 735, Lumia 830, and Lumia 930 will be updated first.

Microsoft demonstrated the Windows 10 Mobile features during the launch of Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL. The Redmond-based software titan has already revealed the official release date for Windows 10 Mobile in December, when the company is planning to begin sale of its two new flagships.

If your device is not listed above for the next software update, the best way to find out if Windows 10 Mobile will be supported is if your handset is currently running Windows Phone 8.1. Minimum of 8GB free space will be required for the upgrade. If your device is a low-end model that meets the minimum criteria, it is possible some features might be missing.

With Windows 10 for Mobile, Lumia phones can take advantage of Cortana integration, OneDrive, universal apps across different devices, new and updated Office and Outlook, and more.
