Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams have been seeded No 1 for Wimbledon 2015 in the men's and women's singles, while defending singles champion in the women's section -- Petra Kvitova -- has been seeded second. Wimbledon is scheduled from 29 June to 12 July.

French Open 2015 finalist Djokovic, who lost out to Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka in the final, has kept his place at the top intact. He was also the top seed for the last year's edition of Wimbledon, and also went on to win the men's singles title following a win over Roger Federer in an epic five-setter.

In the women's division, there is no stopping Serena Williams, as the 33-year-old American inches closer to a possible 2015 Career Grand Slam, having already won the Australian Open and the French Open earlier this year.

Serena, however, had some tough luck at the All England Club last year as she couldn't progress past the third round and was handed a loss by Alize Cornet.

However, judging by her form in the Grand Slams this year, there could be no stopping her.

Home favourite Andy Murray has been seeded third in the men's singles, a rank below Swiss legend and seven-time Wimbledon winner Federer. Murray, who won the Wimbledon title in 2013, and became the first British player to win the the men's crown since 1936, hasn't had too bad a year.

The 28-year-old has already been a finalist at the Australian Open, and reached the semifinals of the French Open this year.

The most noteworthy drop in the men's division has been that of Spaniard Rafael Nadal, fondly referred to as the King of Clay. The two-time Wimbledon Champion is down to number 10, after the nine-time French Open winner tasted a bitter defeat at Roland Garros this year in the quarterfinals.

Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis are seeded No 1 in women's doubles, while Leander Paes and Daniel Nestor are seeded 11th in the men's doubles. Rohan Bopanna, along with Florin Mergea, are seeded ninth.

Last year's finalist and glamorous Canadian sensation Eugenie Bouchard has been seeded No 12 for the Grand Slam, while her old buddy and British heartthrob Laura Robson has received a wildcard to participate at this year's Wimbledon.

Robson was last seen on-court at Wimbledon 2013, and she spent as long as 17 months on the sidelines owing to a wrist injury.
