YIFY Torrents, the BitTorrent group that has been renamed YTS, went offline more than two weeks ago, leaving its users wondering if it will bounce back like many other torrent sites in the past or shut down permanently.

Interestingly, a Facebook account that appears to be fake had earlier claimed that people at YIFY (YTS) were working on the issue and that it would be restored in a few days or a week. But after almost two weeks since the torrent site went offline, the same Facebook account has posted that "All good things must come to an end and our time has come. Good bye."

Trusted sources had earlier confirmed to TorrentFreak that "YIFY and its official YTS website have shut down permanently." So it appears that the popular torrent site once known for uploading high quality movies will not bounce back and is gone for good.

Interestingly, a few sites, including and have surfaced after the popular site went blank. However, it is best to avoid these fake sites that appear to be trying to cash in on YIFY's outage.

It may be recalled that YIFY (YTS) went blank more than 10 days ago without any notice and people behind the site have been remaining silent since. The sudden shutdown disappointed its users who heavily depended on it for quality movies.

So, what are the best alternative torrent sites that YIFY users can turn to?

Well, there are still several torrent sites that you can use for downloading your favourite movies, music videos or television shows. Some of the most popular sites available are Kickass Torrents, RARBG, Lime Torrents, The Pirate Bay, BTN, Can I Stream It?, Torrentz, ISOHUNT.TO and Extra Torrent.
