Assam, Sep 06 (ANI): Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar took stock of animal poaching in Kaziranga National Park in Assam and said that strict action is needed to save the wildlife. Javadekar arrived in Assam for a two-day visit where he observed the measures to conserve the wildlife, existing infrastructure besides discussing about the rapid shrinking forest cover in the northeast region. Later, while addressing a news conference, Javadekar said that the ministry will speed up CBI probe over the issue and that they had zero tolerance over the same. Javadekar also said that the ministry will form special rhino protection force consisting of locals to protest the rare species.
