Samsung has released its Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 devices from the newly floated C-series in China but it is yet to launch them in other markets. The devices boast of a good camera, including an 8MP selfie camera, but come with a price tag higher than the J-series handsets.

It was initially reported that the Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 will be exclusive for Chinese market, but there are enough hints that they could be eventually released outside China. The devices have been cleared by the Federal Communication Commission (FCC), giving a hint that they may come to the United States.

A Samsung device codenamed SM-C5000, which is believed to be the Galaxy C5, has been spotted on Zauba, a website that tracks imports and exports in India. So, it won't come as a surprise if the handset along with the Galaxy C7 comes to India in the next few weeks.

The South Korean technology giant may release the Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 outside China, including India before the launch of the much-awaited Galaxy Note 7 in August.

It may be mentioned that the Galaxy C5 has features like a 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 1,920×1,080 pixels, an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, a 32/64GB internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card), and a 4GB RAM. It also features a 16MP main camera with f/1.9 aperture, an 8MP front-snapper with f/1.9 aperture, and a 2,600mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

The device is priced at 2199 Yuan (around $335/Rs. 22,500) for the 32GB variant, and 2399 Yuan (around $365/Rs. 24,500) for the 64GB.

On the other hand, the Galaxy C7 sports a 5.7-inch full HD super AMOLED screen with 1,920x1,080 pixels. Under the hood, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system, a 32/64GB internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card), a 4GB RAM, a 16MP main camera with f/1.9 aperture, an 8MP front-snapper with f/1.9 aperture, and a 3,300mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology. It comes with a price tag of 2599 Yuan (around $396/Rs. 26,600) for the 32GB model, and 2799 Yuan (around $427/Rs. 28,600) for the 64GB variant.
