Will Ranveer Singh's 'Kill Dill' Repeat Success of 'Ram-leela' at Box Office?

Ranveer Singh's upcoming film, "Kill Dill", is all set to release on Children's Day, 14 November. His superhit film "Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-leela" was released on same date last year.

It's a very rare occasion when an actor's film is released on the same date and Ranveer is excited to find out that his last year's film "Ram-Leela" and upcoming film "Kill Dill" shares the same release date.

"It is a big co-incidence that two of his films will be releasing on the same day. Ranveer happened to realise this and immediately shared it with his team. It is a very rare occurrence for any actor," spokesperson of the film told DNA.

"Ram-leela" also starring Deepika Padukone was big hit and had crossed the ₹100 crore mark at the box office. The film got positive reviews from critics as well as from audience upon its release.

The actors Ranveer-Deepika actively promoted Sanjay Leela Bhansali's directorial film last year around the same time. And now the actor is promoting his upcoming film, "Kill Dill".

The promotion of the film started on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati season 8 (KBC 8) finale episode. "Kill Dill" actors including Ranveer, Parineeti Chopra, Govinda and Ali Zafar were seen promoting the film on "KBC 8".

Like "Ram-leela" the trailer and songs of "Kill Dill" are also gaining popularity on social media. Expectations are high from "Kill Dill" as it features Ranveer-Parineeti jodi and Govinda, but it remains to be seen whether it will have same box office fate as "Ram-leela".
