Ram Kapoor or Ram, who struck gold with Ekta Kapoor's TV show, "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain", is back on television in another show, "Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane".

Produced by filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, the show will air from 23 March in Sony TV and has Ram and Gurdip Kohli in lead roles.

The show has the actor play the role of Ram, who is on the verge of losing his terminally ill wife Anandita (aka Gurdip). He knows that death is inevitable, but is unwilling to accept the truth. The show will deal with the agony of a loving husband whose wife wants to embrace death besides him raising their children alone.

Although, the concept is fresh, the new show will definitely draw comparisons with "Bade Acche Lagte Hai", considering the fact that Ram is associated with both the shows.

"Bade Achhe Lagte Hain" based on the love story of two distinct individuals, Ram and Sakshi Tanwar (aka Priya), entertained the Indian crowd for over three years. The show drew curtains in July last year.

It showcased how two different people belonging to different societies can lock in a relationship of love. The show garnered immense popularity mostly because of Ram and Priya's chemistry and the splendid performances of the entire cast, making it one of the most watched TV shows. Both Ram and Sakshi turned out to be one of the most lovable on-screen couple among the show's fans.

With such popularity and a huge fan base, it appears that the new show might find it difficult to live upto the viewers' expectations. However, with the show's unique concept and Ram on board, the show is expected to pull crowd.
