Dr Alex Reid (Erica Durance) and Dr Cassie Williams (Kim Shaw) will face new challenges in their professional lives in the fourth episode of "Saving Hope" season 4 "Miss You". In the sequel, both the doctors will have to deal with patients with critical conditions.

While the protagonist struggles to save the life of a drug dealer with life or death stomach complication, the junior resident of Hope Zion Hospital attends a horrific acid attack victim named Elizabeth Grant (Charlotte Sullivan).

The synopsis of the upcoming sequel read: "Worried about the lack of family in her baby Luke's life, Durance's character gets more than she bargained for when Kyle Sawyer , the man responsible for her deceased brother's drug problem, is admitted to hospital. Unable to be objective, Reid quickly gives away the surgery, but when a second surgeon is required for the operation she must struggle to save the life of the man who ruined her brother's. Meanwhile, Williams puts the life of her patient at risk and it's up to Dr. Dana Kinney (Wendy Crewson) to teach the young surgeon to put aside her own feelings and focus on the medicine in order to save their patient's life."
