The match between Liverpool and Arsenal on Sunday is going to be an exciting one as both the teams will try to taste their first win in the ongoing Barclays Englisg Premier League.

The match will begin at 6:00 PM IST and will telecast live on ESPN. It will be played at Anfield, Liverpool home ground.

Team News:

Liverpool: Manager Brendan Rodgers has strong squad. Nuri Sahin is likely to make his debut on Sunday and defender Daniel Agger is expected to return from suspension. However, Brazilian midfielder Lucas Leiva has been ruled out from action for 2-3 months following thigh injury during the match against Manchester City.

Arsenal: Injury is going to limit manager Arsene Wenger's selection on Sunday. Defender Laurent Koscielny is likely to return to the squad but it is not sure if goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny will be fit. Jack Wilshere, Bacary Sagna, Emmanuel Frimpong and Tomas Rosicky are out of action due to injury.

Performance of the Teams This Season:

Liverpool had a bad start this season, losing the opening match 0-3 to West Brom. The second match against Manchester City was a 2-2 draw.

Arsenal is yet to score. Their opening matches with Sunderland ended in a 0-0 draw. The second match with Stoke City also met the same fate - a goalless draw.

Past Record:

Liverpool defeated Arsenal 2-0 in August 2011, the latter defeated the former 2-1 in March this year. Out of their last 10 Premier League games played against each other, Liverpool have won just one.

Match Preview:

The spirited play and hard-earned 2-2 draw against Manchester City in the last game will encourage Brendan Rodgers' men to go for the kill tonight. Arsenal look stronger from the outset but their goalless draws in the last two games is a worry. Arsene Wenger must be telling his men to score and win three points.

Arsenal: Mannone, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Cazorla, Arteta, Diaby, Gervinho, Giroud, Podolski
