Ilayathalapathy Vijay paid a surprise visit to the sets of Rajinikanth's forthcoming movie 2.0, which is popularly known as Enthiran 2. The two stars of Kollywood had some memorable time at MGR Film City in Taramani, Chennai, on Tuesday, 30 November.

Reports say that Vijay and Rajinikanth were filming their Bairavaa and 2.0, respectively, on different floors. After wrapping up the shooting, Ilayathalapthy went to the shooting spot of the Rajini film. The Tamil superstar was reportedly happy to see Ilayathalapathy and welcomed him to the sets.

Rajinikanth and Vijay had some great time. But the photo of their meeting was not taken, following the strict orders by director Shankar. The filmmaker does not like to give away much about Rajini's character in the upcoming flick and wants to maintain secrecy. Hence, he requested people on the sets not to click any pictures.

Coming to their movies, the shooting of Vijay's Bairavaa has been wrapped up on Wednesday and simultaneously the post-production works are happening at a brisk pace. The Bharathan-directorial movie, which has Keerthy Suresh in the female lead, will hit the floors in January 2017.

On the other hand, 2.0 has completed a major part of the shooting and the entire filming will reportedly come to an end in January. The team will get ample of time for post-production works. Shankar's mega-budget movie, which has Amy Jackson and Akshay Kumar in the important roles, will be out for Diwali 2017.
