Although Ranbir Kapoor's last two movies - "Bombay Velvet" and "Roy" - turned out to be box office flops, ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone looks up to him as a "huge star".

At a recent event, when Deepika was asked to comment on Ranbir's repeated failures at the box office, she stated, "Ranbir is a huge star, and we all know that. Everyone has their ups and downs in their careers. I don't think I am anyone to comment on what he has been through," The Hindu quoted the actress as saying.

Ranbir and Deepika were last seen together in the film "Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani", which was a super-hit. The duo has teamed up again for the movie, "Tamasha". Directed by Imtiaz Ali, "Tamasha" apparently made a dream come true for Deepika who always wanted to work with the team.

"Tamasha is a very special film for all of us. We have all worked with each other individually in a different capacity. All three of us are very good friends and it was always a dream for me to work with this team," said Deepika.

"It's been a very special journey and a very special film. If it does well, we all will be equally responsible and if not, then also we all will be equally responsible," she adds.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, "Tamasha" will reportedly feature Ranbir as a nomad, who meets Deepika at Corsica and the two set off to explore the island.

The film is slated to hit the screens on 27 November.
