Thandie Newton as Maeve Millay in a still from Westworld.HBO

This Sunday's episode of HBO's Westworld will see Thandie Newton's Maeve gaining more control over her makers, and speculations are rife that she might kill Felix as the trailer shows her clutching a knife.

Felix is one of the Livestock Management employees at the amusement park, and in the previous episode he shared with Maeve, the truth about her life. This resulted in her blackmailing Felix and Sylvester to alter her programming, in such a way, that her loyalty is lowered and her ability to feel pain is also considerably reduced. The duo also increased her intelligence quotient, something that is going to prove dangerous in coming weeks.

Evan Rachel Wood, the actress who plays Dolores, told The Huffington Post in an earlier interview that the episodes leading up to the finale will have "your heart broken and your mind blown." "We've established that the farther out you go, the more intense the game gets, and man, were they not kidding because when we started getting the scripts after episodes it was like, 'Whoa! OK!'" Wood said. "Not only are they dropping bombs left and right, but some of the days on set, I would be like, 'Look, I've seen some stuff, and this is WILD.'"

This Sundays episode is titled Trompe L'Oeil and the synopsis reads: "Maeve gives an ultimatum to Lutz and Sylvester; Bernard looks for a way out of a precarious situation; Charlotte seeks to reveal critical mistakes in Ford's creations; William, Dolores and Lawrence find themselves in dangerous territory."
