"Wazir" is an action thriller film written by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. It revolves around the story of Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) officer Daanish Ali (Farhan Akthar), who loses his daughter while chasing terrorists. Former chess master Omkarnath/Panditji (Amitabh Bachchan), who has lost his wife and his two legs in an accident, approaches Danish to investigate the mysterious death of his daughter Nina.

The movie is all about a conspiracy that casts a dark shadow over the lives of Daanish and Panditji. How will Danish uncover the truth behind Nina's murder? Who is Wazir? The answers to these questions form the crux of the story of "Wazir".

The audiences say "Wazir" has got gripping and engrossing narration in the first half, but things go haywire in the second half, which is predictable.
