Juventus will be travelling to Germany to take on Borussia Monchengladbach in the second leg of the group stage fixtures of UEFA Champions League at the Stadion im Borussia Park on Tuesday.

The first leg ended in stalemate as none of the teams could find the back of the net. Although Juventus have occupied the top of the points table of Group D of the UEFA Champions League, they will be looking to maintain their one point lead ahead of second placed Manchester City after Tuesday's game.

The men from Turin have already won two games and drawn one in this season of the UEFA Champions League and they would want to continue with their winning streak.

"We will be fighting for the three points, which will allow us to put more than one foot in the knockout stages. That is our minimum aim," Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio was quoted as saying by the official website of the Juventus Club.

On the other hand, Borussia Monchengladbach have also played three games so far in this edition of the UEFA Champions league but have not managed to win a single game. They lost against Sevilla and have also suffered a close defeat against English Premier League leaders Manchester City. But, they did show signs of improvement when they took on Juventus in their last game and managed to pull out a draw which helped them to earn their first point.

Borussia Monchengladbach made a poor start to their German Bundesliga season as well. They have lost all of their opening five games. That kind of performance from the side has definitely brought down the confidence. But after that, they bounced back strongly with six back-to-back wins in the Bundesliga. However, in order to make it to the knockout rounds of the Champions League they will have to look for nothing but a win against Juventus on Tuesday or else their campaign will be more or less over.

"I think we have a new sort of energy. We're confident; we do our own thing, we press hard and make life tough for the opposition. 'We're scoring a lot of goals too. We're looking forward to what promises to be a special game. It's our second home match in the competition and the atmosphere will be excellent,'' Gladbach midfielder Havard Nordtveit told his club's official website.

"I hope that we put in a good performance because if we do, anything can happen. Juventus won't underestimate us - they'll know that we have won six on the bounce in the league and will make life tough for them.''
