The most awaited teaser of the movie "Double Barrel", directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery was released on Thursday. As expected, the action-filled teaser has managed to create a lot of suspense.
One thing the makers of the movie have assured is the fact that the film is going to be a complete visual experience. From the look of each actors to the aesthetics involved in making, each frame of the teaser seems to be in a whole new setting.
The teaser introduces the characters of the movie played by Prithviraj, Arya, Indrajith, Swati Reddy, Asif Ali, Isha Sharvani, Sunny Wayne, Vijay Babu, Manu, Chemban Vinod, Pearle Maaney, Sabu Abu Samad and Rachana Narayanankutty.
The cinematography of the movie is handled by Abhinandhan Ramanujan and it looks like he has managed to pull off a great work.
"Double Barrel" is touted as a comedy thriller and the music is composed by Prashanth Pillai, who had worked in Lijo's earlier films.
Lijo has directed films like "Nayakan" (2010), "City of God" (2011) and "Amen" (2013). It was "Amen," which cemented Lijo's position in the industry as a commercially viable director. "Amen" is a romantic musical satire starring Fahadh Faasil, Indrajith, Swathi Reddy, Natasha Shagal and Rachana Narayanankutty in the lead roles.
The film revolved around the events happened in a village named Kumarangiri with the arrival of a young priest Vincent Vattoli (played by Indrajith). The film was well received by the critics as well as the audience. It became a commercial success in the box office by grossing ₹8.12 crore.
"Double Barrel" is produced jointly by August Cinemas Pvt Ltd and Amen Movie Monastery.
