As we inch closer towards the season 4 finale of "Switched at Birth", the lives of Kennishes and Vasquezes are getting more and more complicated. Almost every single one of the main characters from the ABC drama will be have to live with the repercussions of their own actions in the upcoming season 4 episode 17, "To the Victor Belong the Spoils".

As we saw in the last couple of episodes, John (D. W. Moffett) and Kathryn (Lea Thompson) aren't are as comfortable financially as they used to be, and the former isn't as innocent as he had painted himself to be. In the previous episode, we were made privy to the knowledge that Mingo (Adam Hagenbuch) is the son of John's former financial adviser.

It was revealed that John was involved in some not-completely-legal activities and while he had blamed his financial adviser for all his misfortunes, it is clear that John is at fault too. Daphne (Katie Leclerc) learned the hard way that her parents are in financial trouble in the previous episode, and Kathryn does not want the mistake to be repeated with her other kids. So we will see Toby (Lucas Grabeel) and Bay (Vanessa Marano) learn about the same in "To the Victor Belong the Spoils".

Although he tries to tell Lily that as the father of the baby he has some rights, Lily is adamant in her decision. Will Toby have to follow her across the pond in order to be with his baby?

Meanwhile, Bay is furious that art is being used by a student to sell crude t-shirts. Regina (Constance Marie), on the other hand, has to deal with the repercussions of trying to dig into Eric's past.
