Come 1 February and all eyes in the US will be fixated on one of the most awaited events in the US sporting calendar -- Super Bowl XLIX.

The match is going to be held between the American Football Conference champions, New England Patriots and National Football Conference champions, Seattle Seahawks, which is eventually going to decide the NFL champion.

The University of Pheonix stadium is going to host one of US' mega events.

But, it is not only the match that catches the fancy of thousands of people in the US. The creative advertisements also attract a major share of viewers.

Nowadays, marketers are keen to release their advertisement before Super Bowl kickoff to beat the cut throat competition.

Major brands such as Budweiser, Bud Light and Mercedes-Benz USA among others have already put their ads online, thereby getting a major share of hits.

With NBC scheduled to air the game live, about 70-80% of the approximately 60 30-second spots were reportedly sold by September itself, which just underlines its popularity.

With the Super Bowl being one of the most watched events in the US, big brands are ready to shell out huge amounts to money to receive maximum slots during the show.

Hence, big brands are ready to part with approximately $4.5 million for a 30-second spot, which is an astronomical figure.

Some of the ads, which have already been released online, are featured below.

However, brands sometimes are forced to pull their ads down as goes with GoDaddy's this year.

The ad titled "Journey Home" has not been received well by the viewers, who have criticised the brand for promoting irresponsible breeding practises and sale of animals.

Hence, GoDaddy has decided to pull the ad down and the video will now be replaced by another one.
