"Saving Hope" will be back on CTV with an eventful episode of season 4 this Thursday. Episode 6 is titled "Rock and a Hard Place" and it is likely to focus on a blooming relationship between Dawn Bell (Michelle Nolden) and Zach Miller (Benjamin Ayres).
In the previous episode, the cardiologist gets raped by her new friend Lane Berkely (Shaun Benson) and the viewers are curious to know whether she will keep it to herself or inform her colleagues about the incident.
The promotional photos of the upcoming episode indicate that Nolden's character will discuss about the incident with Dr. Miller as she is seen spending quality time with him. But the description of the sequel does not have any details on it.
Meanwhile, Dr. Alex Reid (Erica Durance) will find out about Dr. Charlie Harris' (Michael Shanks) ability to communicate with the spirits of comatose and dead patients. So she seeks his help to save her patient Nick Desmond's life.
The urban explorer is admitted to the hospital after a fall and he is in danger of losing not just his leg, but also his life. In order to save him, Durance's character will have to rely on information procured from Charlie's ghostly communication with the patient's spirit.
In the Emergency Room, Dr. Dana Kinney (Wendy Crewson) will be thrilled to perform a unique surgery of reconstructing a patient's crudely amputated ear on his forearm. But Dr. Cassie Williams (Kim Shaw) is convinced that he will just waste the chance at a new life.
In the meantime, the mentorship program works both ways when Dr. Maggie Lin (Julia Taylor Ross) instructs Dr. Dev Sekera (Dejan Loyola) on the fine art of bedside manner, while Dev pushes Maggie to demand more from the senior surgical staff.
