The teaser trailer of the popular reality show "Bigg Boss 8" has been released on You Tube on Friday night. Salman Khan will reprise his role as the host in the upcoming season of "Bigg Boss".

The 30-second video shows the "Kick" star dressed as a pilot and saluting the viewers. The new avatar of Khan has definitely raised the curiosity among his fans, who are all geared up for an entertaining season of "Bigg Boss".

While nothing more has been revealed in the trailer, it appears like the audience will have to patiently wait until the show begins in September, for the list of contestants that will remain confined at the house for the coming months. Meanwhile, speculations regarding the prospective contestants of the show, which wil be aired on Colors channel, have been doing the rounds for quite some time now.

Rumours had it that model Poonam Pandey, who is popularly known for her bold tweets, will be seen as a member of the house. While, Sunil Grover, who garnered enough fame from his on screen character as "Gutthi" from "Comedy Nights with Kapil", has been approached by the show makers to participate in the show, TV actor Rashmi Desai, Tina Dutt, Babuji aka Aloknath, actresses Ameesha Patel and Hansika Motwani may also be seen in the popular program. Even Khans' rumoured girlfriend, Lulia Vantur's name surfaced as a possible contestant.

Interestingly, former adult star and actress Sunny Leone's husband Daniel Weber, could also be a possible contestant, according to a recent report.

Moreover, it has been revealed that this time around, the reality show, that revolves around controversies, will be bigger and better than the previous seasons. The actor, who has some big hits this year including "Jai Ho" and "Kick", has also hiked his fee and will reportedly charge five crore to six crore per week for hosting the show.

Earlier, Khan was to shoot for the promo of "Bigg Boss 8" in Bangkok, where he would perform some cool stunts. However, the makers have changed their plan due to time constraints and the "Being Human" founder has already shot the promos in Karjat, close to Mumbai, reported Bollywood Life.
