Bengaluru Bulls [red shorts] gave a good fight against Patna Pirates but narrowly lost the matchPro Kabaddi League

After coming really close to getting past Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2016 leaders Patna Pirates in their previous fixture, PKL Season 2 finalists Bengaluru Bulls will be looking for their third win of the season Thursday against Dabang Delhi.

Both sides are currently at the bottom of the table. While the Bulls are in the seventh spot with 13 points from eight games, Dabang Delhi have no positivity in sight as they remain at the bottom with seven defeats from seven games.

The Bangalore outfit, which finished in the top four after the regular league matches in both seasons of the Pro Kabaddi, has its work cut out this time to make it to the top four after its six remaining regular league games.

Patna Pirates, Bengal Warriors, U Mumba and Telugu Titans currently occupy the top four places in the table, and Bengaluru Bulls know they have to work really hard to make it to the playoffs this season.

Dabang Delhi, however, have no such hopes this time. The Delhi side didn't have the best of starts to its campaign, and as the competition progressed, it remained the second-best team in each encounter.

Dabang Delhi have only two points at the moment, which they were awarded after they lost two games by a margin of less than seven points.

On paper, last year's finalists, Bengaluru Bulls, are no doubt the favourites. But having said that, Dabang Delhi will still be pushing hard for that first win of the season and will be expected to give a good fight at the Patliputra Sports Complex in Patna on Thursday.
