The Delhi leg of the Pro Kabaddi League 2015 gets underway on Saturday with hosts Dabang Delhi going head-to-head against Bengal Warriors in the first game of the day. It will take place at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex.

Dabang Delhi, who haven't had a favourable outing this year, will be hopeful that the next four games on home turf help them make the much-needed impact. Currently, they are in the sixth position, with five losses and three wins. They still have a chance to make it to the top four.

The Warriors, on the other hand, have less chance to make it to the playoffs this year, as they are currently the rock-bottom team - with just one win from nine games. Delhi, who have played one game less than the Warriors, are six points ahead of them.

With the backing of the crowd, the home team are keen on making an impact straightaway. Delhi captain Ravinder Pahal feels the support of the home crowd will push the team ahead.

"The team has been growing in confidence and could have pulled off the last two matches against U Mumba. Nevertheless, now that the crowd will be supporting us, it will definitely spur us to perform," Pahal was quoted by the Economic Times.

"You can say that we would be starting the tournament afresh and give our best to make our fans proud," he added.

With six games to go in the regular league season, the Delhi side can still aim for the top three positions and the playoffs.

"The team is very excited to play on the home turf. We put in a lot of effort in the off season and that's showing. Our performance has just been an incredible team effort, one which will hopefully see us reach the penultimate position in three week's time," Pahal continued.

Dabang Delhi beat Bengal Warriors by a whopping 11-point margin in the first leg match in Kolkata last month. While Rohit Chaudhary and Pahal were the stars of Delhi, the Bengal side saw three of their key players being stretchered off during the match, which included star defender Nilesh Shinde and skipper Dinesh Kumar.

The match gets underway at 8 pm IST (3:30pm BST).
