Priyanka Chopra recently reminded everyone that her friend Meghan Markle is much more than just the girlfriend of Prince Harry.

She was on The Wendy Williams Show when the host said, "Here's the big deal. You're friends with Meghan Markle...Prince Harry's girlfriend!" The 35-year-old Indian actress defended her friend and gave a perfect response. "Also Meghan Markle... you know, an actress in Suits, her own achievements..." she replied.

The Baywatch actress also stated that she is looking forward to the American actress' wedding with Prince Harry. When Wendy asked if they will get married, she replied, "I don't know. I hope so! She seems happy," said the Quantico star. "I think they look great together."

Chopra also added that she does not want to add on to the pressure that Markle will be getting from high profile relationships. "I hope so. I mean, no pressure. High-profile relationships are so stressful anyway. As a friend, I wouldn't like to add on that at all," she said

So, Wendy was really curious to know if the Suits actress is stressed out because of her relationship with Prince Harry. But the Quantico star carefully responded, "We talk more about my stress than hers. She doesn't seem to have any."

The next question that came from the show host was if Chopra will be the bridesmaid at Markle's wedding. For which, she replied, "I don't think I'm that close to her. I don't know that. I mean, I've known her about two years now. We randomly met at a party and got on really well. So, I don't know. Once I get the invite—if I'm even invited."

The Bollywood actress also shared some details about her role as Victoria Leeds in Baywatch and her love life. According to her, it's not necessary to take a date to a red carpet event. "It's my moment, my outfit. I'm a strong independent woman," she said.
