Neutrals will be eager to see both these players come up with their A class performance, but the home crowd at Cleveland will only want one team to turn triumphant and there are no prizes for guessing.

The Cavaliers have been the best team in the Eastern Conference with 28 wins and 10 losses, while the Warriors, number one in Western Conference, have been the team to beat in the league as they have only lost four matches so far, which is an incredible feat in the ever-competitive league.

However, the Warriors, who have been winning games for fun, have hit a road bump with two losses in their last three matches, which very few saw coming. The Warriors lost against the Denver Nuggets in a tight affair, while they were outplayed by Detriot Pistons in their last game, losing 95-113.

With such results, the Warriors are aware of the tough ask when they face Cavaliers. If the Warriors let their guard down, the Cavs are going to make a yard out of an inch.

''We've been saying it all year, but no matter where we go, teams are going to give us their best shot,'' AP quoted Warriors interim coach Luke Walton as saying. ''In this league if you're not ready to fight back, you're going to get blown out.''

The Warriors, who have relied on their deadly trio of Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, need to be on top of their game against the Cavaliers. With Curry and Thompson averaging 29.9 and 20.8 ppg respectively, the duo have been phenomenal, helping Warriors win a number of games on their own with their shooting skills.

James and Kyrie Irving are Cavs' response to Curry and Thompson, which makes the contest even more interesting. If James and Irving get their A game going against the Warriors, the visitors might have to suffer defeat. James averages 25.5 ppg.

Irving is aware of their stern test at home against the warriors. With both teams standing atop their conference, a quality game is expected on Monday. The Cavaliers, who have only lost once at home this season, will be eager to maintain their winning streak.

"We're the best two teams playing right now," Irving said. "We're No. 1 in our respective conference, they're No. 1 in their conference."
