Capricorn Commanders will lock horns with the struggling Libra Legends in the Masters Champions League (MCL) at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Friday.
The Legends have no chance whatsoever of making it to the semifinals, having lost all their matches so far. The Commanders, on the other hand, will look to reclaim fourth spot in the MCL points table.They have played three and lost two so far. Their only victory came against the Sagittarius Strikers.
Paul Collingwood will want to register a win against the Libra Legends, so that they improve their chances of making it to the final four.
Both sides are coming into this fixture after defeats.
Commanders came very close to beating the near-invincible Gemini Arabians in their last game, but fell short by 10 runs.
Meanwhile, the Legends were thwarted by the Strikers on Thursday by 63 runs. Jacques Kallis and his men in pink will look to salvage some pride and spoil a few opponents' party, with their semifinal hopes gone.
In order to do so, they will have to play good all-round cricket. The Legends have been outclassed in all the departments in this ongoing edition of the MCL.
