Malayalam megastar Mammootty's new adventurous advertisement for a popular bank has been released, and it is sensational.
The one-minute commercial for South Indian Bank (SIB), which the "Pathemari" actor has been endorsing for a long time, has received positive response from his fans.
In the new ad directed by Sharrath Sandith, the 64-year-old actor is seen climbing a mountain and helping another mountaineer in reaching the top. The actor endorses the bank with the caption, "We are there, when you need us".
The commercial was shot at Karnataka's Ramnagara, where Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra starrer "Sholay" was also shot.
Mammootty shared the video of the ad on his official Facebook page on Thursday and it has been viewed by more than 1 lakh social media users.
In August, he had posted a photo of him climbing a mountain that went viral on social media.
Currently, the actor -- who is basking in the success of his latest outing "Pathemari" -- is in Japan for a two-week trip and recently shared a video, in which he turned news reporter by talking about the impact of atomic bombing in Hiroshima.
