After Justin Bieber, singer Luke Bryan has taken the spotlight for punching a fan. The singer punched a fan at the Charlie Daniels All-Star Volunteer Jam event on Wednesday night.

Bryan, who was singing his hit Move as a part of Charlie Daniels's 80th birthday/Volunteer Jam, punched the fan when he gave the singer the finger. Initially, the singer ignored the fan's hand gesture, but later Bryan grabbed his hand and punched him in the face, according to Gossip Cop. After the incident, the man was escorted out of the venue.

Later, Bryan's rep issued a statement clarifying why the singer punched the man. "A man in [the] front row was making crude hand gestures toward Luke during his performance," the statement read, according to Billboard.

"It was insulting not only to him, but more importantly to the men, women and families sitting around him who were there to support and celebrate Charlie Daniels and the efforts of raising money for the military veterans — some of who were in the audience. The concert security personnel saw the man's disruptive actions of the event and he was escorted out."

Last month, Canadian singer Bieber punched his fan on his face in Barcelona. During his Purpose Tour, a young fan tried to grab the 22-year-old Canadian singer at Palau Sant Jordi on the night of November 22. A video of the incident, which went viral, shows that the fan leaned towards the singer sitting in the car to grab him and in no time the singer punched him in self-defence. After the car left the venue, onlookers came to help the fan, whose lips and teeth were covered in blood.
