In the six seasons that "Love & Hip-Hop New York" has been aired on VH1, the reality show has been best known for the love triangle featuring Amina Buddafly, Peter Gunz and Tara Wallace. This season, the drama got more intense that it has ever been, when Tara and Amina both got pregnant with Peter's babies around the same time.

As of "Love & Hip-Hop New York" Season 6, Peter is married to Amina, and Tara is living in the same building as the not-so-happily-married couple, so that Peter could be closer to the three boys he has with Tara. However, in the premiere episode, Peter was seen sleeping with Tara, and after the latter told him to leave, he went back to the apartment he is sharing with wife Amina.

It is clear that Peter and Amina were having marital troubles even before Tara re-entered the picture, but they both had different views on how to deal with it. While Amina wanted to work through their issues and be a whole family for their daughter, Peter thought it was time for him to go back to Tara.

However, Tara called Amina and Peter to her house and talked it out, finally revealing to Amina that he is not faithful to her. Making matters worse, both women learn that they are pregnant with Peter's baby and while Amina decided to abort the baby, Tara decided to keep to.

In the upcoming Season 6 Episode 8 of "Love & Hip Hop New York", Peter will have to reveal to Amina that his ex-girlfriend is going to have his baby. In a promo for "The Long Game", Peter is seen visiting Amina at the studio while she is singing a song that seems to be eerily similar to her feelings for her husband.

Although the build-up to Peter's big news is shown in the promo, how she actually responds to it will be revealed only in the episode. Regardless of how badly she takes the news, it looks like Amina will always forgive Peter.

In a clip where Amina speaks to VH1, she reveals that "despite everything Peter has put her through, he is my favourite person in the world," claiming it is hard for her explain it to anyone else. She also defended her husband by saying that the viewers only get to see Peter when he messes things up, but when he is doing well, in no way people don't like him. Even the ones that claim to hate him, she promises.
