Rockbottom side NorthEast United FC take on fourth-placed FC Goa in the match 12 of the Indian Super League 2015 this evening.

The action shifts to the rocking Indira Gandhi Stadium in Guwahati -- the home of NorthEast United FC, and the home side are expected to be at the best of their form in front of their lively fans.

NorthEast come into the game at the back of two straight defeats this season against Kerala Blasters and FC Pune City, and they will be looking to overturning their fortunes at the earliest.

And former West Brom striker Diomansy Kamara remains upbeat. "The visiting teams need to feel the heat. We are at home now," the NorthEast United FC man said.

The performances of Argentine striker Nico Velez, who scored the only goal for the North East Indian side so far in the league will also remain crucial.

FC Goa, meanwhile, come into the game at the backdrop of a heavy 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Chennaiyin FC in their previous game in Fatorda on Sunday. And gaining confidence at the earliest remains their aim.

The Goa side's manager Zico confirmed that while star players Lucio and Jofre are still to recover from their injuries, the duo could feature in the game tonight. "We will give it another 48 hours in order to evaluate the state of the injuries sustained by the players. But it seems Jofre's injury was not very serious. With regards to Lucio, it seems it was something related to the muscle," the Brazil legend said after their game against Chennaiyin on Sunday.

However, the Brazil defender will be missing the game tonight after failing to recover on time.

Looking ahead to the game against Cesar Farias' side tonight, FC Goa defender Debabrata Roy cherishes the challenge that will be put by the Velez and the rest of his teammates.

"NorthEast are a pacey unit. We have to cope with the likes of Velez and company," Roy said.
