Mumbai City FC will be facing NorthEast United FC in match no. 23 of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2015 at the DY Patil Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

Both the sides are coming into this match after back-to-back victories. Although Mumbai City FC and NorthEast United FC did not start the tournament on a good note, they have resurrected their ISL 2015 campaign.

Mumbai City FC are eyeing their third straight win at their home ground. Couple of days ago they got the better off the table toppers of ISL 2015, FC Goa, as well. Nicolas Anleka and his men in blue want to carry that momentum into this game and move further up in the points table.

The home team have also been successful in keeping two back-to-back clean sheets and that proves how good they were defensively in their last two games.

"We're playing at home - it's a must-win game for us. We'll [soon] finish the home run of five games... We need to do our homework and capitalise on our home games as nobody has any idea [as to] what could happen in the league," Mumbai City FC assistant coach Oscar Bruzon told the reporters on Tuesday.

"What went right [vs FC Goa] is the work, the attitude of the players, the combination, the association between team-mates, knowing when to pass the ball. Many things went right for us. Tomorrow too should be a good fight."

However, it will not be a cakewalk against NorthEast United FC. Cesar Farias and his boys defeated the reigning champions Atletico de Kolkata in their last game at the Jawaharlal Stadium in Guwahati. They have gained a lot of confidence after that victory and would want to make it count against Mumbai City FC on Wednesday.

"It's important to be prepared for them mentally. I have great respect for Mumbai, they play an excellent game. The main aim is to get those three points. We believe in our players and in the work that we do, the way we play the game. I'm sure they'll be worrying about us as well. Nobody main as such, we'll be prepared for all of them as the time comes," Farias told the reporters ahead of their clash against Mumbai City FC.

"We do recognise the strengths of a particular opponent player but we believe in our team more than anything. So we're not going to have a separate session to think about stopping him specifically. We'll be planning our runs, so that they would have to worry about stopping our strikers as well."
