FC Pune City take on Indian Super League champions Atletico de Kolkata in their fourth successive home game of the ISL season tonight (17 October) at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Stadium, Pune.

The Deccan outfit has two wins from three games in the competition so far, having lost one game.

ATK, meanwhile, have recorded two wins and a draw from their three games so far, and will be keen on building on their unbeaten record this season.

ATK lead the standings with seven points, while Pune remain third in the league table, going into the match tonight.

The performance of Arata Izumi and Javi Lara in the midfield for the visitors will be the one to watch for in the game. Izumi has been brilliant in the last two games for Atletico de Kolkata as he scored the openers in both the games, while Spaniard Lara remained a formidable force for them.

ATK coach Antonio Habas hopes the return of defensive midfielder Ofentse Nato and Indian defensive rock Arnab Mondal will futher boost the backline of the side.

"I'm waiting for the likes of Nato, Arnab to return when we travel to Pune," Habas had said after his side's win over Kerala Blasters in the last game.

Ian Hume is expected to start once again in the attack in the absence of marquee player Helder Postiga, who is on the sidelines for atleast until a month.

The pressure will be on FC Pune City to test their opponents and get a favourable result from the big game. The return of India internationals Jackichand Singh and Eugeneson Lyngdoh is set to further boost the midfield.

The experience of Didier Zokora and Turkey veteran Tuncay Sanli is also expected to provide impetus to the home side.

"It's a new game. New starts. We know Kolkata are a tough team but we're looking forward to the game," Sanli said ahead of the game.

The same was echoed by Zokora. "They're one of the best teams in the Indian Super League, but we are ready. It's going to be a very big game," the highest-capped player of Ivory Coast said.
