The Super Machans Chennaiyin FC will be locking horns with Delhi Dynamos in match No. 45 of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2015 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Marina Arena, in Chennai on Tuesday.

The fact that Chennaiyin FC have not played welll in ISL 2015 is hard to digest for their fans. They were almost invincible in the last season and were right at the top of the points table until Kerala Blasters toppled them in the semi finals.

Marco Materazzi, head coach of the Super Machans, had mentioned ahead of their clash against Atletico de Kolkata that they are too good a side to be in the second half of the ISL 2015 points table. And one will agree to that fact.

Chennaiyin FC should gather all the positives from the wins they have registered so far in this season of the ISL. Especially Stievn Mendoza, what a player he has been. Mendoza has already bagged nine goals in 10 matches that he has feature in for Chennaiyin FC and he is hungry for more. Materazzi will be expecting him to be at his prime yet again against Delhi Dynamos at the former's home ground on Tuesday.

On the other hand, this has been a fantastic turnaround for Delhi Dynamos from the last season. They have been a force to reckon within ISL 2015 and will be a very difficult team to beat. Coach cum marquee player Roberto Carlos have guided them to a position from where they can sniff that place in the final four of the tournament.

A golden opportunity lies ahead of them on Tuesday. If they can manage to outplay Chennaiyin FC, they will replace Atletico de Kolkata from the top spot in the ISL 2015 points table and also push FC Goa to the third position in the league table. 

But if Chennaiyin FC can manage a victory against Roberto Carlos and co, they will dramatically climb up to the fourth spot in the ISL 2015 points table.
