France will be hosting world champions Germany in an international friendly at the Les Tricolores Stadium on Friday.

France, who will be hosting the Euro 2016, are gearing up for the big tournament. They have been in good form of late and have won five out of their last eight international games in the process.

On the other hand, Germany is probably lacking the instinct that they had sported in Brazil before they lifted the World Cup in Rio last year. In order to qualify for the main stages of the Euro 2016, Germany had to win against Georgia in the last game of the Euro Qualfiers. Joachim Low and Co. did win the game against Georgia but after many hiccups.

"They're a very strong team that want to gauge themselves, to see where they're at during these big tests after not having played in the qualifiers. By all accounts, they have impressed me a lot," Germany head coach Joachim Low told reporters ahead of the international friendly against France, which he rates as one of the tournament favourites for Euro 2016.

Germany might hand the first ever cap to the 19-year-old to Schalke player Leroy Sane. He has been impressive in the Bundesliga so far and Low has decided to give him a chance in the international level as the gaffer will still be looking for the best combination ahead of the Euro 2016.

France will be without the services of Karim Benzema and Mathieu Valbuena. The Real Madrid forward has been charged of "complicity in a blackmail attempt." Although Benzema has denied of any wrongdoing, head coach Didier Deschamps has decided to leave both the players involved in that controversial issue.

Probable lineups:

France: Lloris; Sagna, Varane, Koscielny, Evra; Schneiderlin, Pogba, Matuidi; Griezmann, Giroud, Martial.

Germany: Neuer; Ginter, Boateng, Hummels, Hector; Gundogan, Schweinsteiger; Muller, Draxler, Schurrle; Gomez.
