In the previous episode of "The Flash", we saw the return of Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and his sister Golden Gloder (Payton List) – who has a love-hate relationship with Cisco (Carlos Valdes). The former would soon be seen in the upcoming The CW show "Legends of Tomorrow", and with the upcoming episode suggesting the return of FIRESTORM, it looks that all the main cast of the show will be introduced one by one.

Since the beginning of "The Flash" Season 2, we have seen Dr Stein's (Victor Garber) health declining and in the previous episode, "Family of Rogues" we see him collapse. It is understood that without Ronnie (Robbie Amell) to stabilise his meta-human abilities, his condition worsens. Team Flash has however found just the right person to help with Stein's predicament and that is Jefferson "Jax" Jackson (Franz Drameh),

Jax is a a former high school athlete whose pro career dreams were crushed after an injury, but is now scientifically a match for Stein to merge with. He becomes a "wiling partner" to Stein and one half of FIRESTORM in Season 2 Episode 4 of "The Flash".

Along with the excitement of a new partnership, "The Fury of Firestorm" is also packed with some family drama that comes from the West household. In the previous episode, we saw Iris' (Candice Patton) mother Francine (Vanessa A. Williams) - a former drug addict, who abandoned her as a baby – return to Central City and ask to be back in her life.

Although Joe (Jesse L. Martin) was hesitant in allowing the same, he told Iris about her return. In a preview from the next episode, we see Iris calmly explain to Francine that she does not hate her, in fact she wishes for her to be happy. However, she wishes to be strangers with her.

Fans can also look forward to an intense make-out session between Barry (Grant Gustin) and Patty Spivot (Shantel VanSanten) soon. We already know she has a crush on Barry - the forensic scientist, and has no clue that he is the Flash. Looks like Barry feels the chemistry too.

Watch out for Season 2 Episode 4 of "The Flash" at 8.00 pm (EST) on Tuesday, 27 October. You can also live stream "The Fury of Firestorm" via CWTV.
