The first teaser of the much-awaited Dulquer Salmaan–Nithya Menen starrer "100 days of Love" has been released. The 33-second video showcases the essence of the movie.
The teaser reveals the turning point in the life of the lead character, played by Dulquer. It is narrated by the lead actor himself. The teaser shows Dulquer's character meets the heroine in a cab on a rainy night. Her smile mesmerises him and he calls this as the life changing moment of his life.
The teaser has established that the makers of "100 days of Love" has kept a romantic tale in store for their audience. The soothing music by Govind Menon and cinematography by Pradheesh Varma has contributed well to the teaser.
With this movie, which is scheduled to release on 20 March, Jenuse Muhamed - son of ace film maker Kamal - makes his debut as a director.
As reported earlier, Dulquer plays the main character who is a feature writer in a leading national daily. His life takes a turn when he meets a mysterious girl (played by Nithya) and what follows is a series of hilarious yet charming tale of romance.
The film is a metro-centric romcom entertainer with some breezy moments. The story of the film is based in Bangalore and revolves around the events happening in a period of 100 days.
Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen were last seen together onscreen in Anjali Menon's blockbuster, "Bangalore Days" (2014), but the duo did not have any combination scene.
The duo is also awaiting the release of their Tamil movie "OK Kanmani", directed by Mani Ratnam. The trailer of the movie has already created waves among cine lovers. This movie is scheduled to hit screens by 14 April.
