Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit Nene's comeback film "Dedh Ishqiya"s first teaser has been released.
The Abhishek Chaubey film stars Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi from the successful prequel "Ishqiya" and the elegant Madhuri as Begum Para, along with Huma Qureshi.
The film's official twitter handle describes it as, "a story of romance between individuals caught in a web of crime, suspense, passion and deceit."
The 2:10 minute trailer begins with Nasseruddin advising junior Arshad on the seven steps of love, and in comes the gorgeous ladies.
Madhuri looks enthralling in her character of Begum Para, which is assumed to be a nautch woman, while Huma plays her friend. Keeping on the rustic flavour, Urdu is used predominantly to render a classic theme to the story.
However, there is much violence as the teaser concludes with some chase sequences, gun shots and village strongholds.
The prequel starred Vidya Balan as the female lead and had the duo - Nassserudin and Arshad - falling head over heels for her. It is presumed a similar plot is in store for the sequel, where the duo get ditched by Madhuri and Huma after falling for them.
Produced by Vishal Bharadwaj, the film is set for release on 10 January 2014.
