Bayern Munich have a good chance of achieving a treble this season as they still are in contention for the DFB Cup, apart from the Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League titles. The Bavarians take on Werder Bremen in the semifinal of the DFB Cup 2016 at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday.

While Bayern have a great chance of bagging at least one title out of three this season, Bremen have the opportunity of clinching just one title this season, and that is the DFB Cup.

However, going by their recent form, Bremen would really have to give their best to record a favourable result against Bayern in Munich. Pep Guardiola's men are currently atop the German league table and the gap between them and second-placed Borussia Dortmund is of just seven points.

As per the German league points table this season, Bayern and Dortmund are the only title contenders with four league games more to go. Bremen, on the other hand, are battling not to get relegated this season. The four time German league winners are currently 16th in the 18-team league.

Only the bottom two teams get relegated to the second division of German club football.

Bayern come into the game at the back of five wins in their five previous Bundesliga fixtures. They also entered the semi finals of the UEFA Champions League last week after getting past Portuguese giants Benfica. Bremen, meanwhile, have two wins from their last two fixtures.

Guardiola's side found it rather comfortable in the quarterfinals of the DFB Cup 2016 as they recorded a 3-0 win against Bochum. Bremen, on the other hand, gave a good display as they got past German giants Bayer Leverkusen with a 3-1 scoreline.

Bayern thrashed Bremen 5-0 in March this year in their return leg Bundesliga game at the Allianz Arena; the goals coming from Thiago Alcantara, Thomas Muller (both scored a brace) and Robert Lewandowski.
