Trinbago Knight Riders will lock horns with Barbados Tridents in the match no. 3 of the Caribbean Premier League (2016) at the Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad, Port of Spain, on Friday. Trinbago Knight Riders will look to forget their defeat in the opening game against St Lucia Zouks and come back strongly in their second game against the Tridents.

Barbados Tridents, led by Kieron Pollard, are boosted by the arrival of AB de Villiers in their ranks. De Villiers needs no introduction and the entire cricket fraternity knows how dangerous he can be in the shortest format of the international game.

Not to forget, the last time these two sides met was in the CPL 2015 final and the Trinbago Knight Riders got the better of Barbados Tridents. The idea of revenge is likely to crawl in once the game progresses.

But Tridents skipper Kieron Pollard said that they are not thinking in that line and they just want to go out there and play good cricket.

On the other hand, Knight Riders are aware of the presence of De Villiers in the Tridents playing XI. They must have chalked out some plan for the South African batting superstar.

"He's one of the world's best batsmen in all three formats at the moment and there's no doubt he'll bring a lot of experience to their side. Hopefully he doesn't get it right tomorrow. It's always a pleasure to watch him bat and I think he'll be a big influence on the team," Kallis was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz.
