Barbados Tridents will take on Jamaica Tallawahs in match no. 12 of CPL 2016 at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown on Monday. AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle may be teammates in Royal Challengers Bangalore but they will have to leave that fact behind in Bridgetown as they are all set to square off against each other.

Tallawahs have played three matches so far in CPL 2016. They managed to win two and lost one game and are placed second in the points table. They will not want to lose this opportunity to inch closer to the table-toppers Guyana Amazon Warriors, who suffered their first defeat in five games in CPL 2016 against Trinbago Knight Riders on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Tridents have played just two matches and they have won one and lost the other. AB de Villiers was brilliant as usual in the last game and powered his side to their first victory of the season after losing the first game to the Knight Riders.

Tallawahs are coming into this match after suffering an awful defeat in the hands of Guyana Amazon Warriors. That definitely did not impress the captain Gayle and he wants to come back stronger against the Tridents on Monday.

Tridents will look to climb up to the third place in the CPL 2016 points table.
