The upcoming season of "The Walking Dead" will have a lot of Rick and Morgan scenes, but their interactions are not going to be what fans expect, as both Rick and Morgan have changed over the course of the time they have been apart.

Season 5 finale saw Morgan reuniting with Rick at Alexandria Safe-zone, and there are chances that Morgan's presence is going to change the dynamics within Rick's group of survivors, who have made ASZ their home.

"Having Rick and Morgan together, finally, again is a huge deal, and it's definitely going to be a big part of Season 6," executive producer and series creator Robert Kirkman said, according to The Wrap.

"Now it's a very different Rick and a very different Morgan who are going to have a completely different relationship," he added. "And it's the questions of how they're going to interact, how they're going to work together — if they're going to work together — and what comes from those interactions is going to be basically the spine of season six."

Meanwhile, rumours are afloat that a major character will die in the upcoming season. Although it's too soon to say who will be the next to bite the dust, if the show follows its source material, the book series by Kirkman, Glenn will be the next to go.

However, the television series has succeeded in straying away from the comics with regards to deaths, and fans believe the death could be of another fan favourite character.

"Hershel got Tyreese's iconic death, Bob got Dale's iconic death - I can't wait to see who gets Glenn's death, because no way are they going the predictable way on such an iconic death/scene," one fan noted.

"Glenns death in comics would have to be either glenn or daryl," another opined. "Negans appearance has to be HUGE and fans HAVE to hate him or have to love to hate him w/e. and yeah yah got morgan and abraham and such but since rick wont be going... daryl and glenn would be the biggest heartbreaks for fans."

"The Walking Dead" returns to AMC in October.
