Here is some good news for all the Royal Enfield fans out there. The Iconic bike maker has managed to cut down the waiting period of its range of offerings in India with the production capacity enhancement at its plant in Chennai.

According to a report of Oncars.in, biking enthusiasts who have been waiting to lay their hands on the Royal Enfield offerings can now get the motorcycles in just three months time. The waiting period of the Royal Enfield motorcycles had extend up to 11 months, especially after the production at the Chennai plant was hit by floods in November last year.

The motorcycle division of Eicher Motors has nine offerings in its India portfolio — Continental GT, Thunderbird 500, Thunderbird 350, Classic 500, Classic 350, Bullet 500, Bullet Electra, Bullet 350 and Himalayan. The company is currently said to be working on two new engines to power its future models. According to the latest reports, the Chennai-based motorcycle manufacturer is also planning to add 100 more sale and service outlets in India by the end of this year.

In July, domestic sales of Royal Enfield stood at 52,128 units in July 2016, up 31 percent from 39,587 motorcycles sold in July 2015 and the company's overall sales increased 31 percent to 53,378 units, YoY. For the four-month period ended July 2016, overall Royal Enfield motorcycle sales stood at 2,00,861 units, up 36 percent from 1,47,373 units sold during the corresponding period last year.
