One of the most promising singers of "The Voice" US Season 8 will be sent home tonight based on America's votes. It can be anybody - Joshua Davis, Koryn Hawthorne, Meghan Linsey, India Carney or Sawyer Fredericks.

The five semi-finalists performed live on Monday with the hope of progressing to next week's finale and win the coveted title.

Joshua Davis of Team Adam: He kicked off semi-finals with Bonnie Raitt's "I Can't Make You Love Me" (Coaches' Pick) on Monday. It was just a descent rendition as he seemed to find difficult to bring out the emotion of the song. However, he improved tremendously with his second song, performing The Band/Bob Dylan's "When I Paint My Masterpiece" (Contestants' Picks/Hometown Dedications).

Koryn Hawthorne of Team Pharrell: She took on the song, "One" by U2 (Coaches' Pick). It was a good performance but not a great one. Her second song (Contestants' Picks/Hometown Dedications) was "Oh Mary Don't You Weep" and it turned out to be a beautiful performance.

Meghan Linsey of Team Blake: She performed Sam Smith's "I'm Not the Only One" (Coaches' Pick) and it wasn't that impressive after her superb performance in the last few weeks. Her second song (Contestants' Picks/Hometown Dedications) was George Jones' "Tennessee Whiskey" and she nailed it.

India Carney of Team Christina: She sang Sara Bareilles' "Gravity" (Coaches' Pick) and it was a good performance. Her second song of the night was Michael Jackson's "Earth Song" (Contestants' Picks/Hometown Dedications), which was simply beautiful. It was one of the best renditions of the night.

Sawyer Fredericks of Team Pharrell: He sang Buffalo Springfield's "For What It's Worth" (Coaches' Pick) which was a beautiful performance. His second song was Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years" (Contestants' Picks/Hometown Dedications), and it turned out to be another stealer performance.

Going by the performances on Monday, it looks like either Joshua Davis or Koryn Hawthorne will be sent home. However, it is the audience who decide who progress to next week's finale.

"The Voice" US Season 8 semi-final results episode will be telecast Tuesday on NBC Television at 8:00 pm EST (6.30 am IST, Wednesday) and it will be live streamed online on NBC's official website.
