"The Voice" USA Season 7 Battle Round started on Monday with 12 contestants taking on each other to find a place in the next round. More contestants will hit the stage on Tuesday's episode, where some will proceed to the next lever and others to be sent home.

Coaches - Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams – will once again pit the contestants from their respective teams against each other.

The Battle Round of "The Voice" USA Season 7 will be telecast at 8:00 pm EST on NBC Television (6.30 am IST, Wednesday). The episode can also be live streamed online on Hulu

In the first battle Round of this season, Elyjuh Rene, Chris Jamison, Sugar Joans, James David Carter, Taylor John Williams and Luke Wade were chosen by their respective coaches, while Jean Kelley, Craig Wayne Boyd and Griffin got another chance after being stolen by other coaches. However, Maiya Sykes, Amanda Lee Peters and Jonathan Wyndham were sent home.

Team Pherell: Elyjuh Rene and Maiya Sykes performed "If I Ain't Got You" by Alicia Keys on Monday. It was an outstanding performance and both deserved to stay in the competition but Pherrell Williams could choose only one, and he went for Elyjuh Rene. Surprisingly, none of the coaches used their steal to save Sykes. Griffin and Luke Wade were the next to hit the stage. They performed Paul McCartney's "Maybe I'm Amazed" beautifully. Williams chose Wade but Griffin also survived the scare with Blake Shelton using his steal button.

Team Adam: Chris Jamison and Jonathan Wyndham were made to render "Young Girls" by Bruno Mars in the first battle Round of the season. Both of them put up a solid show but Adam Levine chose Jamison.

Team Gwen: Sugar Joans and Jean Kelley performed "Survivor" by Destiny's Child. Joans' distinctive voice and energy helped her find a place in Team Gwen and Kelley was also stolen by Williams. The next contestants from Team Gwen to hit the stage were Amanda Lee Peters and Taylor John Williams. They performed Dolly Parton's classic song, "Jolene" and Gwen chose Williams.

Team Blake: James David Carter and Craig Wayne Boyd performed "Wave on Wave" by Pat Green. They nailed the song and their coach Blake Sheldon picked Carter, while Gwen Stefani used her steal for Boyd.
